Walt and Jesse decide it's time to end their business dealings with Tuco after bearing witness to his incendiary disposition. But how can they do this? Meanwhile, Hank helps smooth things between Skylar and her sister Marie by acting as a go-between.

Walt and Jesse try to disassociate themselves from the volatile Tuco, but find themselves in deep trouble when they trapped withe the dealer. Meanwhile, Skylar is worried about her missing husband and seeks comfort from her sister and brother-in-law. Elsewhere, Hank visits Jesse’s mother on a business call.

Walt and Jesse continue to put distance between themselves and Tuco, but soon discover they are losing both customers and money. Meanwhile, Hank and his DEA meth ring investigation gets a shot in the arm which may just put Walt and Jesse within their sites.

A suspicious Skylar keeps Walt at arm’s length, despite his attempt to reconnect with the family, as Skylar worries what Walt has been doing while he was away. Meanwhile, Jesse once again finds himself on the streets and attempts to find a way to improve his lot in life.

A confrontation with Tuco has Hank dealing with some aftereffects. Meanwhile, tensions are running high as bills mount at the White home; and Jesse rounds up a crew of dealers to get their product on the streets.

Walt’s secret is in jeopardy when Skyler thanks Gretchen for paying for his treatment.

In this episode, Walt has been trying to get in touch with Jesse but he is not ready to work with him after his confrontation with Spooge. He is not ready to sell their products to their dealers also. As Jesse reputation is going ill with the killer image. Hank also gets a new job of task force that can be risky for him.

Walt and Jesse have yet another problem to deal with when one of their dealers, Jesse's friend Badger, is arrested by the Albuquerque police. They end up hiring a shady lawyer, Saul Goodman, who has a unique way of ensuring that Badger gets off with a light sentence without having to give away Jesse or Walt's identity. As Walt learns however, it may come at a very high price. Walt's brother-in-law Hank, the DEA Agent, is suffering from post-traumatic stress following the shooting in Juarez. He puts on a brave face but is having trouble just getting out of bed in the morning. Walt has some suggestions for him.

Walt is convinced that his medical condition is deteriorating. He continues to have coughing fits and is now coughing up blood. After his attorney-advisor crunches the numbers, Walt realizes that there isn't much money left for his family. He and Jesse set off for the desert for a marathon cooking session over an extended weekend. Jesse continues to put his foot in it, this time by leaving the keys in the ignition and inadvertently draining the RV's battery. They find themselves stuck in the middle of the desert, cold and without much water. Walt's knowledge of chemistry again saves the day.

A party for family and friends is thrown by the White’s to thank those who supported Walt through his trying times, but it grows ugly when Walt and Hank get into a bitter argument. Later, Walt tries to occupy his fed up pent up feelings by doing some home-improvement projects. Skyler confides in her boss about being worried about Walt’s physical and emotional state. Jane keeps her relationship with Jesse a secret from her father.

When unforeseen circumstances cause Walt and Jesse to lose some dealers, Saul suggests they add a new business partner. At work, Skylar confronts Ted about the unnerving information she had uncovered. Jane learns what Jesse does for a living when he opens up to her, which ends in disastrous results.

Skylar has her baby; Walter Jr. launches a new website in an effort to contribute to the family income; and Jesse’s addiction begins to cause problems.

This is the last episode of the season. Skylar and Walt is once again together. Skylar comes to the secret of Walt and that leads her to state of shock. Jesse gets parted from all and no one has any clue regarding his shelter. Jane's father further adds into a tragedy with his woes and tensions and becomes harsh with Jane.
